Two new additions for GP Groot
The world of waste collection is constantly evolving. Reuse and circular processing play an increasingly important role in this. Also GP Groot continues to invest in future-proof collection solutions and has recently added two new Magnum GPM rear loaders to its fleet of vehicles.
The company now separately collects around eighty different waste streams. Whereas waste separation used to be largely limited to paper, plastic, and residual waste, the focus today is on recovering as many valuable raw materials as possible. Residual waste in particular still often contains materials that are suitable for reuse.
The two new Magnum GPM rear loaders are fully tailored to these modern collection challenges. The vehicles feature a body with a capacity of 22 cubic meters and are equipped with a GEC lifting device, suitable for both 2- and 4-wheel containers as well as Eurotainers. The LED work lights ensure optimal illumination of the comb during operations.
With a body capacity of approximately 11 tonnes, the rear loaders can transport maximum quantities of waste per route, contributing to efficient deployment. In addition, both vehicles are equipped with a Welvaarts total weighing system for accurate registration and monitoring.
The vehicles are also fully equipped in terms of safety and maintenance. For example, it features a Brigade 360-degree camera system for optimal view of operators and surroundings, while the Groeneveld-BEKA grease lubrication system automatically lubricates the superstructure and lifting device for maximum reliability and minimal maintenance. The superstructures are mounted on Volvo FM chassis.
The new additions have now been received by drivers René and Casper, who will be hitting the road with them in the region in the coming period. A great addition to the fleet, congratulations!
