How does Z-cam help prevent accidents?
By actively intervening in the emptying process (for example, by preventing it from starting, stopping it, or slowing down the lifting device) when persons enter hazardous zones at the rear of the vehicle, for example by carelessly reaching, tripping, or stepping backward.
what sets z-cam apart from conventional cameras?
Conventional cameras provide images. Z-CAM analyzes the images and automatically detects whether a hazard is present. The system independently decides whether the lifter should be stopped, slowed down, or activated.
how quickly does the system respond?
In real time – the response (for example preventing start-up, stopping, or slowing down) happens automatically and immediately as soon as a hazard is detected.
does the detection works in rain, darkness or winter operation?
Yes, Z-CAM has been developed and trained for real-world use — even when lighting conditions change. Sometimes visibility may temporarily decrease, for example due to dirt on the lens. That’s normal for any camera system.
can the system be retrofitted
Yes. Z-CAM is very easy to install on the Delta series (2301 and 2322). Installation is carried out by Haller Benelux or authorized partners.
