The gemeente Almere expands its collection capacity with the Medium X4, a modern rear loader with a 20 m³ capacity body, suitable for collecting both domestic waste and recyclables. With the purchase of two identical vehicles, the municipality increases its availability and makes maintenance more efficient.

The Medium X4 boasts sophisticated engineering. Roof-mounted tailgate opening gliders ensure optimal weight distribution, while the reinforced, lightweight body increases pay load without compromising durability.

The detachable lifting device with two independently operating combs effortlessly empties two containers simultaneously: quickly, cleanly, and efficiently. Thanks to the redesigned pickup, 4-wheeled containers can now also be handled automatically.

The body and lifting mechanism are powered by a plug-in unit equipped with lithium-ion batteries, ensuring clean and quiet operation. In addition, the rear loader is equipped with a JAMA-identification system for automatic container recognition. All of this is built on a robust and reliable Scania-chassis.

With the Medium X4 rear loader, Almere has opted for a sustainable and efficient solution for its daily waste collection.
