Selikor’s Magnum GPM Rear Loaders in Action on Curaçao
Selikor, a leading waste management company in Willemstad, plays a crucial role in keeping the island clean and sustainable. With its use of state-of-the-art technologies and facilities in the Caribbean, Selikor is at the forefront of efficient and eco-friendly waste management.
Selikor is expanding its fleet with five new Magnum GPM rear loaders as part of its long-term investment plan. These new vehicles are equipped with the efficient X-Lift, which features a comb for easily emptying plastic roll containers. The rear loaders have a low body with a capacity of 17 m³, contributing to a smooth and effective collection process.
Recently, Selikor's director, Wesley Kook, along with the fleet manager and staff, traveled to the Netherlands for the final inspection of the new vehicles. With this addition to its fleet, Selikor enhances its capacity to collect household waste more efficiently.
The rear loaders are built on robust DAF CF chassis, which not only boosts efficiency but also makes the operators' work more ergonomic and comfortable. The collected waste is carefully transported to a well-structured landfill, where it is optimally covered to minimize its environmental impact.
The new vehicles have now arrived in Curaçao and are expected to be fully operational by the end of the year.
