RD Maasland boosts collection capacity with new side-loaders.

RD Maasland received a new side loader for a new region. The side loader is part of a larger order of six vehicles. Thanks to this expansion, the organization, active in Beesel, Horst aan de Maas, Leudal, Maasgouw, Roerdalen, and Echt-Susteren, can further increase operational efficiency in waste collection.

The side loaders are equipped with a 23 m³ body, achieved through an enlarged tailgate that provides extra volume capacity. The vehicle is designed for single-operator use. Joystick controls in the cab allow for the quick and precise handling of 60- to 240-litre bins. The emptying cycle takes approximately eight seconds, contributing to high processing capacity per route.

The single grabber, fitted with two rubber pads, minimizes damage to containers and offers a maximum reach of 2.6 meters. This makes it possible to efficiently empty containers positioned further away from the street.

Congratulations; this is a great step towards further improving waste collection in Central Limburg. Last May, RD Maasland added a Magnum GPM with split lifting device to its fleet.
