Twente Milieu choses for new sideloaders

Twente Milieu expands its collection fleet with four new side loaders, built on the DAF XD. These vehicles have a spacious 22 m³ body and are designed for efficient, safe and ergonomic waste collection.

The sideloaders are equipped with a single grabber suitable for mini-containers from 60 to 240 liters. The semi-automatic joystick control gives the driver optimal control over the loading process. Thanks to the shaking function (1–3 times), containers are emptied effectively, increasing productivity during collection.

Ease of use for the collection team has also been considered. For example, the vehicles have an external control for the grabber, which increases its versatility. The grabber is also equipped with the JAMA VS-VAN identification system with a plate antenna, which automatically recognizes and registers containers. A raised paddle design was chosen for better processing of collected waste. Good luck with the new additions to the Twente Milieu team.
