MSN expands fleet with two new Magnum GPM rear loaders

Milieu Service Nederland (MSN), the specialist in commercial waste collection, recently expanded its fleet with two new Magnum GPM rear loaders. These vehicles are part of a larger order of 13 units.

Due to the versatile GEC lifting device, the rear loaders offer an efficient and environmentally friendly solution for collecting commercial waste. They are designed with an emphasis on flexibility and ease of use. For example, the ETB arms can also be optionally operated from the left side – a solution for emptying Eurotainers in difficult-to-access locations.

For added safety, a modified bumper construction was chosen on both sides of the lifter, as there are no foot boards fitted. To reduce wear and tear and extend service life, both the body and the lifter are equipped with the Groenveld twinsmeringssysteem. Besides that the vehicles are equipped with the Welvaarts totaalweegsysteem, which allows waste to be accurately weighed and registered

The rear loaders are mounted on the robust Volvo FM chassis, supplied by VGTC Amsterdam, with a gross vehicle weight of 27 tonnes.
