HVC takes next step in emission-free waste collection
HVC provides sustainable waste management for various municipalities and water boards in North Holland, South Holland, Utrecht, Flevoland, and Friesland. The head office is located in Alkmaar.
For daily waste collection, HVC has a new GPM MINI, equipped with a 7 m³ body capacity, added to its fleet. This compact and maneuverable vehicle features the same ‘bit bite’ compaction mechanism as the Magnum GPM rear loader, achieving optimal waste compaction. The side walls of the body are fitted with Alucobond plates in HVC’s recognizable corporate colour.
The GCB 550 lifting system makes it possible to empty 140-, 240-, and 360-liter two-wheeled containers, as well as four-wheeled containers from 500 to 1,100 liters. The lifter is equipped with a fixed bin catcher with rubber to protect the containers.
The Cabin Control Box (CCB) has been enhanced with additional functionalities, allowing the driver to open the tailgate to a height of one meter, extend the compaction plate, and close the tailgate from the cab. Additionally, the DropsaVet Automatic grease lubrication system allows for a longer service life and lower maintenance costs.
A fully electric FUSO eCanter with a maximum gross vehicle weight (GVW) of 8,550 kg is the basis, with which HVC once again takes a sustainable step towards emission-free waste collection.
