Sustainable and Efficient: new Magnum GPM rear loader in action
We recently delivered this advanced rear loader to Roele de Vries, part of GP Groot. This powerhouse, a Magnum GPM rear loader, is equipped with a specially developed GHC lifting device and designed for the efficient collection of 2400-liter containers. Thanks to the robust Geesink lifting arms, extended by 190 mm, these containers are effortlessly picked up and completely emptied.
To remove the last bits of waste, the driver uses a special pick-up stick to ensure everything lands neatly in the rear loader’s hopper. The unique ‘Big Bite’ compaction mechanism then utilizes its powerful compression capabilities, efficiently processing and optimally compacting the waste.
This unit excels in versatility: the trade bar allows for the collection of various containers, while the HKE arms are specifically designed for emptying HKE containers. With a simple switch, the driver can seamlessly switch between GHC and GCB lifting device—without the need for footboards. Additionally, the footboards can be easily removed if desired.
With a body volume of 23 m³ and a pay load of nearly nine tons, the Magnum GPM offers an unparalleled combination of power and efficiency. To ensure a long service life, the unit is equipped with a Groeneveld vetsmeersysteem, while the advanced Welvaarts-weegsysteem collects valuable data for a smart business operations.
The chassis is a Volvo FM and was delivered by LVS.
Good luck, Bert, with this great addition to the fleet!
