RD Maasland tackles fire hazards in its vehicle fleet smartly.
RD Maasland has once again strengthened its fleet. The waste collector, active in Beesel, Horst aan de Maas, Leudal, Maasgouw, Roerdalen and Echt-Susteren, recently acquired three new Magnum GPM rear loaders . This makes collection in the region even smarter, more efficient, and more user-friendly.
The first asset is a Magnum GPM rear loader with a capacity of 20 m³, supplied via TB Truck & Trailer Service. This rear loader features a split lifting device with a dust screen, ensuring clean, dust-free, and container-friendly collection. The unique "big bite" compaction mechanism also ensures optimal waste compaction.
Because waste can sometimes contain flammable materials, RD Maasland has equipped its rear loaders with an additional fire hose connection. This is located on the side of the vehicle and runs through the roof to the rear. This allows any fire to be fought directly at the source—a crucial addition to safe and responsible waste collection.
