The municipality of Maassluis opts for hybrid rear loaders

We have supplied two advanced hybrid rear loaders to the Gemeente Maassluis. The municipality attaches great importance to sustainability and has therefore opted for hybrid top loaders to empty and transport crane bins in the city, as part of the expansion of their fleet.

Thanks to hybrid technology, the rear loaders drive emission-free and virtually silently through residential areas. This results in fewer emissions and a more pleasant environment for residents. If necessary, it is easy to switch to diesel, ensuring maximum operational flexibility.

Safety
The drivers of the rear loaders actively participated in the tender process, as they work with the vehicles every day. They know from experience which vehicles are needed to do the work safely and efficiently, with an eye for the safety of residents and traffic. That is why the vehicles are equipped with a 16 cubic meter body and the latest safety systems.

Denise Mulder, Sustainability Councilor, put it succinctly: “These are small steps, but with this investment we are taking another step in the right direction.” We thank the Municipality of Maassluis for their trust and wish them lots of success with the new assets.
